Plant description

Extracted by steam distillation from the leaves of Cinnamomum camphora (L.) J.Presl chemotype cineole, cultivated to Madagascar (ravintsara), where the canforo asiatic has sviluppato — in centuries of acclimatation to the conditions climatic of the isola — a chemotype dominated from 1,8-cineole invece of camphor.
