Eucalyptus Staigeriana (Eucalyptus staigeriana), known as Lemon-Scented Eucalyptus for its citrus profile with notes of lemon and geranium, is the most delicate eucalyptus species and the one best suited to wider use, including on sensitive skin. Its oil is rich in geranial, neral and limonene with a presence of 1,8-cineole, giving it a fresh, sweet and citrus aroma that sets it clearly apart from the other species. Thanks to its sweetness and tolerability, it is among the few eucalyptus oils also suitable for children over 3 years of age (in reduced doses). It is analgesic, antiseptic and stimulating to the immune system.
Australia (Queensland northern); cultivated also in Brazil and Guatemala.
