(rose of maggio, rose cabbage), rose ibride of the Rosacee coltivate mainly in Bulgaria (Valle of the Rose in Tracia), Turkey (Isparta), Morocco and Iran. L'rose oil is the more expensive among the essential oils of largo consumo — requires 3-5 tonnellate of petals for produce 1 kg of oil distillate (otto rose for a drop). The phytochemical profile is dominated by citronellol (35-55%), geraniol (15-25%) and nerol (5-10%), with dammasch-enone — the component responsible of the note 'rosaceo-honeyed' characteristic — and stearoptene (cere solide which solidificano the otto of rose to temperature environment).
