Plant description

Extracted by steam distillation from the wood of Cedrus deodara (Roxb. ex D.Don) G.Don (cedarwood of the Himalaya, deodara, deodar cedar), large conifera evergreen of the Pinaceae native of the Himalaya western (Pakistan, India north-western, Afghanistan, Nepal western), where grows among the 1.500 and the 3.200 m of elevation formando forests maestous and profumate on the pendic montane.
